I am the treasurer for Northern Kentucky Fly Fishers, Inc.. I noticed a charge on MY business debit card from "GOOGLE * Google Pla, g.co/payhelp#, CA". To the best of my knowledge NKFF has never setup a Product Listing Ad with Google. How do I find out what this charge was for. The bank says I need to contact you to find that out before I dispute the charge. Please note that since that charge occurred my business debit card was hacked, has been closed and a new one issued (standard practice for my bank). The charge was transferred to the new account.

Pla is likely google-play -- not product-listing-ads.

 

google-play refers to google's ebooks, streaming tv, movies, music,

and android devices such as smart-phones, tablets, chomecast, etc.,

and any related apps, games, or subscriptions.

as an aside, product-listing-ads have been retired

for quite some time -- and are now shopping-ads.

 

that said, this is mainly a peer-to-peer community forum --

Celebird ... Thanks for your response. I didn't think it was Google PlaY because of the way it was listed in our bank statement ("GOOGLE * Google Pla, g.co/payhelp#, CA".) but it may be. Still doesn't answer my question which really is How do I get through to a humanb being to talk to about this charge". I can't seem to find any phone number in any CONTACT US. Anyhow, thank you. I'll try Google PLAY billing and see if they can help me.

if the billing issue seems to be related to paid-ads, such as
shopping-ads, then google may be contacted directly here --

typically, to get through to a human requires a paying-customer-account id,
or submitting a form first, or both, so that an appropriate support-specialist
may be assigned to the issue, with a proper tracking-ticket-number.

 

being logged-in to google, using the same google-account,
that is associated with the payment/paid-service, will usually

trigger google to automatically fill-in the customer/account id,
with respect to most google contact-us or similar forms.

Celebird ... Many thanks for the tip. I found a phone number in the Google Play Support Online and called it. Lo and behold, I actually got a person (Brad) who was an absolute gem. He listened to my story and went right to work. Found the charge in an account that had nothing to do with me EXCEPT it used my club business debit card. So it was a fraudulent charge and they are refunding the money. It took a while on the phone but Brad was so pleasant and understanding. Issue resolved ... Yay! Many thanks for the tip.
