Clicks on campaigns doesn't align with billing clicks?

When I look at my campaign, it shows no clicks but shows it has reached the daily limit? When I look at billing it is showing 20odd clicks. Why are billing and campaigns showing different things. I only have one campaign active.

Hello Ray H,

You should wait, sometimes adwords take time for updates your account. Basically it takes 24 hours for updates.

I have far more billed clicks than clicks showing against my campaigns. It is nothing to do with the updates. If anything the delay in updating would show the reverse. More ad clicks than are showing as billed.
I can't see a possible explanation for clicks to be billed when there are not equivalent clicks on the keywords.
This happened the last time I tried adwords and no one got back to me about it. I am really disappointed.

Hi I have the same problem. My campaign is showing 5 clicks - including deleted keywords, but my billing is showing 24. Did anyone establish why this was happening? I also have analysis software on my website and it doesn't show 24 paid referrals from google

Think I've found the reason, I had a google adwords campaign from a while back. I then received a promotion code which had to be used via google adwords express. I set up a campaign there thinking it would overwrite the campaign in the normal google adwords. But it doesn't.

If you go into billing, and click on where it says how many clicks for a specific date, if you have a line which says AWX then you have an Adword Express advert running.

Here's me modifying my campaign so not to waste money on unnecessary searches, and my budget has been wasted on the express advert! Not happy.
