I think that I have been billed for clicks from a scammer. It is quite a considerable amount of money,

I can't find how I should check this with google. Can anyone tell me how I can check this?

thanks!

Rob

Rob;

Once you complete the on-line troubleshooter, you should have an option to contact Google invalid clicks team, asking to check the clicks IPs

If found invalid - you will be fully refunded.

Hi Moshe,

Very much appreciate your response. But I simply need to ask Google to check that a series of clicks I have been charged for are valid.

It is frustrating that I simply cannot simply send a copy of the specific charges to Google email address for them to check.

Hi Rob,

In addition to the spot on link provided by Moshe, an alternate would be to go through the web log records if you have and identify the repeated IP addresses, which might look suspicious to you. You can exclude the IPs so that your ad is not shown to the poeple available on those IP addresses.

Although Google has very powerful tools and techniques to trap any spamming activity happening through advertiser's account, but still if it happens, they credit back the amount for those invalid clicks. It can be found under the Billing tab marked as Service Adjustment.

But as always, if you still think that spamming activity is there, you can follow Moshe's link and report it to Google.
