Authorization failed: No reason provided

Dont know why, but when I am setting up my billing account and press continue is throws back this message: Authorization failed: No reason provided

 

What must I do to continue?

I would suggest you contact adwords support for this. There is not much forum members can do in this case

Hi Guys,

 

@Tertius

 

We normally see Authorization failed when your banking provider prevents your payment instrument from authorizing at one of two points: a) the payment instrument set up or b) for a payment.

 

If it's a new card, please ensure you've activated it prior to using it as a payment instrument on the account.

 

Try giving your banking provider a call (or the credit card provider - VISA, Mastercard) and if they see no issues at their end feel free to get in touch with your local support team and we'll look into the issue with you further.

I received the "Authorization failed: No reason provided" because of inssuficient founds for activation on my VISA Raiffeisen card... that is just silly... it took me 1 week to finaly find out what is wrong... the error message should be more precise.
