I am applying for AdWords API access and just filled out the billing information at our MCC. I have some concerns about the billing process.
For AdWords ad cost (actual clicks), we keep every account on prepay and manually add funds by a credit card specifically made for that purpose.
For AdWords API, as the application required us to register a credit card at our MCC, we have prepared a separate credit card just for APIs.
My understanding is that this credit card will be charged only for API usage above the free quota at the end of the month in Pacific Time automatically and for ad cost we can continue to prepay at each account. Is this correct? We want to keep ad costs and API costs completely separated from the accounting perspective.
I don't know if this matters, but we have about one company level MCC and 2 other MCCs which belong to the former, and I am trying to use APIs for one of the child MCCs.

Billing /payment issues are account specifics. Since we do not have access to the account we cannot help with that.
