Account suspended due to billing info

Hi all,

Yes, i'm another AdWord client that just recieved this message "Account suspended due to billing info".
My billing details- card numbers, name and address are all correct.

 

Now i have just recieved an email saying i've violated Terms and Conditions.
Tried Google support numbers but it's not very helpful.

This is all in the space of 48 hrs.

 

Could someone confirm if this is a technical issue Google is experiencing?

Hello hankmn,

 

I remember that there was a known issue for Indian advertisers for whom there was a much delayed process of payment method getting updated, but it has been fixed as per Google.

 

When you called up Google support, what info was given to you?

 

Did you try sending an email to Adwords support?

Yes, I saw that known issue relating to Indian payment method. I don't think it's related as I'm an Australian advertiser.

 

When i called support, I recieved a recorded message that my account has been suspended for not complying with Adwords' Terms and Conditions. I was not able to speak to a representative. I don't believe my site is in breach of any T&C. I'm not selling anything, nor am i making exagerated claims and i do have a "privacy policy" page.

 

I have sent an email regarding this issue and awaiting their follow up response if any.

 

I have read on this forum that many people like myself have encountered billing issue and they had their accounts refered to Support and it was fixed pretty quickly.

Did you receive any email from Adwords in support of suspension message which you got while trying to Call Adwords support?

 

Can you share a piece of info on that so that Community can address this more specifically?

 

You said you have already written to the support team. I hope you should be getting the best assistance from them.

Support's first email (Yesterday Sunday)

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with your AdWords account.

We’d like to let you know that your account is currently under review and we’re prioritizing this over other issues you may have written to us about. Our Specialists already know about this issue, and an investigation is underway. We periodically review accounts for security purposes and to verify billing information. We'll send you an update after the investigation is complete, typically within three business days.

 

 

Support's second email (Today monday)

After reviewing your account, it has come to our attention that your Google AdWords accounts do not comply with our Terms and Conditions. As a result, your account, and any related accounts you may have created, have been suspended.

As you may recall, the Terms and Conditions to which you agreed to when you signed up for AdWords state that Google reserves the right to review and stop running any ads when deemed necessary. You can review these Terms and Conditions here: https://adwords.google.com.au/select/tsandcsfinder.

 

Much appreciated if you could help with identifying the core issue(s).

Hello,

 

When you hover mouse over the speech bubble of any keyword in your account, what info does it gives like site suspended or what?

 

From the inital email, it looks like that your billing information was under the verification process and Google might not have been able to verify it.

 

Is it the only Adwords account which you were running and how old it is? I hope that you were not violating this policy because it's simply not allowed to run multiple Adwords account for similar business.

Responses to your questions,

 

1. An example of one of my speech bubble on a keyword.

 
  • This campaign is not currently enabled. (no credits - self explanatory)

 

Quality score 5/10
 

 

2. Google had made a previous debit with that billing information and it was fine. Not sure why it was not okay a month later on my next attempt to credit my Adwords account. It would help if i had more info, ie name, address etc.

 

3. I have only one Adwords account that i use to run the ads and never had any other accounts. This account is only two months old and now I wanted to increase my advertising expenditure.

Yes, i have seen that policy and i am adhering to it. But if i am not then it would help if i was advised by Google so i can investigate further from my end.
