Account suspended - billing issue

Hi,

 

I have been using my adwords account for last 3-4 weeks for providing SEM services to one of my clients. Last Sunday i.e. yesterday at approx 1AM IST my account was suspended with the message : " Your Google AdWords account has been suspended because your billing information in this, or a related account could not be verified".

 

I have written to Google since and am waiting for a reply. I have registered a new sole properitership firm and have also blocked the domain. Am not sure what else to do to let Google know that I am a genuine users. Please advise.

Hey Sid, 

 

How is your billing setup? Through a bank account or credit card? Post pay or pre pay?

 

It sounds like Google is having issues with processing your credit card (if this is how you're paying.) You can try to re-enable your card by following these steps:

 

1. Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.com .
2. Click the "Billing" tab, then select "Payment options".
3. Under "Billing settings", locate the disabled form of payment.
4. Ensure its details are correct, and check with your bank or credit card
provider to ensure it can be used.
5. Click the "Re-enable form of payment" link to make it usable again.

 

I've also had issues with my credit card company in the past. So it may be worth contacting them and allowing permission for Google to apply charges.

Google AdWords in India seems to be extremely un-professionally run. The net banking transactions don't show-up for weeks. Every time you call the customer care, you are promised an answer by EOD, which NEVER comes (probably the day never ends at Google!) and they care two hoots about whether your ads run or not.

 

In my case, I had severe delays in payments getting recognized by Google and for a couple of weeks I'm experiencing problems wherein I have credit balance in my account but my ads simply wouldn't run. Customer care serves the lone purpose of irritating you further. They provide NO ANSWERS. Worse still, they promise to call you/mail you and DO NOTHING until you follow-up with them umpteen number of times. Every time a different person picks-up the call and wants you to explain the whole situation.

 

I think Indian government is better run.
