I look for my ad but can't find it. And I have friends try to look but still nothing. Yet I had 47 clicks so they say but no results. How do I know who clicked on to it?

Hi Mary,

In order to see the live ads, use Ad Preview tool, if you are campaigns are running on Search Network.
http://adwords.google.com/d/AdPreview

If your campaign is GDN type, there is no such tool to check the live ads. So you can share the placement reports for this.

Hi Mary,

Welcome to AdWords community,

Below are the reasons your ad may not show to you.

  • Your ads may target in different location.
  • Your IP address may exclude in AdWords.
  • Your daily budget exhausted for the rest of the day.

As Rakesh said AdWords best practice is to view your ads through Ad preview tool. Whenever you or your friends search ads in Google it will affect your search CTR and your ad performance.

Find the below screen shot for ad preview and diagnosis tool

  • Enter your keywords in Search Box
  • Choose your Domain Ex: if you are ads are target Australia select .com.au
  • Location: Choose your location where your ads targeted Ex: if you are ads target to new york choose new york as your location.
  • Device: see how your ads performing in different Devices.

Thanks,

Aravindh.
