Hi Shane,

It's a level of spending in automatic payment method which when met would trigger your account to be charged for the costs.

As Google says -

A billing threshold applies to automatic payments only, where we charge you for advertising costs after 30 days, or whenever your account reaches your billing threshold.

More information can be found here-

Think of it like this... Google is going to bill you every time you hit $500 (if that is your threshold). But if you don't hit that in 30 days, they will bill you what you have spent in that time.

So, if you spend $400 in the 30 days, Google will bill you the full $400 at 30 days. If you hit $500 on day 20, they will bill you the $500 on day 20 and the clock is reset..... you wont pay again until you either hit another $500 or you hit day 30 (in reality day 50 since the start of the campaign)...

I still get confused.

the question is, when i don't or stop making my ads will the automatic payment charge my credit card if it meets 30 days billing cycle?

Because, not every month i make and run ads on google.

it depends on occasion of season.

Thanks

Nando

The same cycle will apply... if you have run no ads for 30 days there will be no charge... or am I not understanding the question?
