Hello Viva,
I recommend you start learning AdWords basics like what's campaings, ad groups, keywords....etc
All of you want to know about AdWords and how it works, is available at Google AdWords help center:
https://support.google.com/adwords/?hl=en#topic=3119071

You Tube Adwords channel has also a lot of useful videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/learnwithgoogle

Adgroup is set of keywords, ads, and bids that is a key part of how your account is organized. Each ad campaign is made up of one or more ad groups.

Hello viva p Smiley Happy. Welcome to the community.

I'll try my best to help you.

1. Ad Group

- A set of keywords, ads and bids.

- It is recommended to create separate ad group for each theme such as products or services that you offer.

- The ads and keywords must be related to each theme (to prevent from confusion).

2. Steps to make a campaign:

a) Visit AdWords at https://adwords.google.com.

- If you’re new to AdWords, click Get started now to create your account.

b) Click the + Campaign button on the Campaigns tab.

c) From the drop-down menu, select the campaign type you want to use

- "Search Network with Display Select" (recommended for new advertisers)

- "Search Network only," or "Display Network only". Learn more about choosing your campaign type.

d) You'll be taken to the "Select campaign settings" page. Give your campaign a name. Then, make your choices for the following settings (you can find additional information about these settings in “Understanding your campaign settings” above):

  • Devices
  • Locations
  • Languages
  • Bidding and budget
  • Ad extensions

e) Click Save and continue. You can edit your campaign settings at any time.

Here's for more info on creating your 1st campaign- https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704395

p/s: You can always click on "Help Center" tab on the top right.

Hope that helps a bit. Good luck Smiley Happy

Hi Viva -
Welcome to the Community and congratulations on launching your first AdWords Campaign. To add to Ahmed & Ollie's answers I would also caution that while AdWords is very powerful tool that allows you to reach your target audience, it can also lead to a significant spend in a short amount of time if you're not careful. I often encourage advertisers to make sure they are comfortable with AdWords and fully understand its features, before launching a Campaign.
Another way to answer Question #1 - picture Ad Groups as a container that stores your Keywords and Ads. There is not a 1:1 relationship between Keywords and Ads so Ad Groups should be set up with tightly themed Keywords that directly relate to its Ads. Picture a Campaign as a container that holds Ad Groups.
#2 - besides the excellent answers here, below is a step-by-step guide published by Google.
