i am wanting to pick a good keyword and this is what i get

keyword   Global S    Local S   Competition

"jkd perth" <10           <10        Medium

"jkd"         4500          720        Low

1) What does this symbol mean <  ?

2) How does jkd perth have medium compertition and jkd which has more searches is low competition?

Your help would be greatly appriciated.

Cheers

Jason

Hi Jason,

1. The symbol < means less than.

2. You may have a competitor who only bids on jkd perth. Their market share may be *medium* relative to a small bucket (jkd perth) but simultaneously low relative to the larger bucket (jkd) since they don't bid on jkd.

Best,

Lakatos
