if the tax and shipping information are properly configured
within the merchant-center-account then, simply leave empty
(entirely blank) the tax and shipping cells in the spreadsheet,
for those items to use the account-level settings.

if all items will be using the account-level settings then,
simply delete the tax and shipping columns altogether --

e.g. select the entire column and delete-column.

then, re-save and resubmit the feed.

any tax or shipping value, whatsoever, that is set within the (spreadsheet)

feed for an item, will completely override that tax or shipping account-level
setting for that item -- a valid override-value must contain three colons and

no quotation-marks when the re-saved spreadsheet .txt file is viewed within

a browser-window; by default, quotes are not allowed.

as an aside, be certain shipping (or tax) information is not mentioned

anyplace else within the data-feed  -- e.g. the title or description --

that is a policy violation and grounds for the items to be flagged

with a disapproval or suspension, any time.

We are having a problem with "No Tax and Free Shipping" showing up on many but not all of our products when searched in Google Shopping".  We previously had a fixed tax rate for our state and no other state was identified for a tax rate.  When we started having the problem of "No Tax" not showing up in the listing Google instructed us to go into every state and set a fixed tax rate of 0.00 for every state and then wait 45 minutes and re-upload our feed.  We did that more than 24 hours ago and nothing has changed.  I also put in "marker" prices on a couple products in our new feed identify when Google was using the new feed.  It's now been 24+ hours and they haven't used the new feed/pricing and most of our products don't identify "No Tax" thus no "Total Price" is present which pushes us to the bottom of the list when a customer sorts by "Total Price".  BTW...We have no columns in our feed for tax or shipping.

I have spoken withe support (3 days ago) and the problem is still not resolved.  I spoke with another "Google Support" person today and received no support other than we have a "Specialist" working on it.  When I asked to speak with a supervisor I got "Well, we're a big company now and it takes 24-48 hours to speak with a supervisor".  Wow, if we gave that level of support to our customers we would have been gone years ago!

Any suggestions as to how to resolve would be most appreciated!

Hi,

I eliminated both of those columns from my spread sheet as my state does
not require taxes and I do free shipping.

Hope this helps.
