seller ratings

How can i generate reviews alongside my PLA's, without giving resellerratings.com and other review agencies a ton of money? We have been in business for 12 years, and have tremendously positive ratings on Ebay and Amazon. However, I am just getting started on google shoppings and don't have enough reviews to show up with ratings. If we are that reputable on Ebay and Amazon, shouldnt these ratings be carried over? Is there a place i can have our current and past customers provide us with ratings, that will be picked up by google, without spending a fortune?

Hello, Tyler.

Here's how these seller ratings are collected: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2375474?hl=en

Unfortunately, if your website is not reviewed on at least one of the websites listed on that page (or if it's not a Google Trusted Store, reviewed on StellaService or has ratings from Google Consumer Surveys), it will not show the seller ratings next to Shopping ads.

Have a look at that list of websites, I suspect they don't all cost the same (or at least this is what one of my customers told me).

Thanks Calin!

I have read through that article, but maybe you can answer some questions. Though we move plenty of product to qualify as a google trusted store, its not through our website yet, so i dont think we qualify. As for stella service, is that also a paid service like reseller ratings? I have looked through the list of websites, but am unfamiliar with most of them. Is there somewhere i can send past customers to rate us, without having to pay a third party, that would feed to google? Is that, in effect, what we could do with google consumer surveys? I looked into the surveys yesterday, but it seemed more like a tool for gathering marketing data, rather than generating reviews, but maybe it can be used both ways?

I don't have first hand experience with surveys so I don't know how they could be used for reviews but I did check out Stella Service and it seems it is something the big guns would use.

In your case, however, I think your best bet would be to find a company, from that list, strike a deal with them and start gathering reviews from now on. I don't know any site that can be used to send your past customers to.

Consumer Surveys doesn't even explain how to set up surveys that will be pulled into a Seller Ratings' algo. Adwords team doesn't now how to set this up either. What a shame - each Google product blames each other for the creation of this survey?!
