Hi Rashmi,

Here is what Google officially says about duplicate keywords:
"Avoid duplicate keywords across ad groups.
Google shows only one ad per advertiser on a particular keyword, so there's no need to include duplicate keywords in different ad groups or campaigns. Identical keywords compete against each other, and the better-performing keyword triggers your ad."

Ref: http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/static.py?hl=en&page=tips.html&rd=1

You can change match type in different ad groups of the same keywords. This will help your to identify which keywords match type is better performing for your campaign.

Thanks

Virendra

Hi @Rashmi M E

Yes try to clear all the duplicate keywords in your account.

The very big cons of this is not the duplicate will affect your Ad performance badly, but you will get fragmentary data in both keywords and they will probably affect your judgement on whether it's a good keywords after a long period...

Thanks,
Jason
