Hi
I've been asked by my employer to find out if multiple people can sign into a single adwords account to work on separate campaigns. If so is there anything special that needs doing to allow that?

Yes they can, no nothing special needs to be done, but this is not a "best practice" at the agency/company level. If you need multiple people for multiple campaigns, then odds are you have multiple clients, and you really need to setup a My Client Center for the company.

https://adwords.google.com/home/tools/manager-accounts/

You can assign access at various levels for each account, or the MCC itself. If a manager still needs read and reporting level access to all clients, they can have that. If individual people only need access to a specific account, you can do that too. If you do have multiple clients, each client needs their own account, for ownership and access reasons alone. An MCC is the best way to manage all these variables.

Hi @James T

You can add all such users to the account so that they can work on the campaigns without needing your admin's login credentials. The ideal access level will be Standard or Managed Standard. Read more about access levels here.

Watch this beautiful video to know how to add access -

Note: All such users with their assigned access will be able to see and work with all campaigns. There's no campaign level access, it's account level. You can instruct all such users about the campaigns they need to work.

All the best!

Thanks
