What is the use of having multiple ads in single adgroup ?. I have same set of keywords to trigger all those ads.

Hi Sairam,

Having multiple ads helps you optimize your campaign. When you write 2-3 different ads that are shown for the same keywords, after some time you'll see that each of them will perform differently: some will be more active than others, some will have higher CTR than others, some will have lower CPC, higher conversion rate, etc. etc.

Different ads have different texts, for example: some contain prices, some - special promotions, others are more generic.

After looking through the performance of your ads, you can pause/delete some ads that are underperforming, then look at the good ones and write new ads to rotate with. Then after some time you look through ad performance reports and make changes again. It's fun and surely helpful! Never, never ever limit yourself to a single ad in an ad group.

Hi @sairam g,

@mildaster answered your question. Just a small addition:
If You have low traffic, don't overuse multiple ads because you will have to wait really long to get some statistical significant data.
So start with at least 2 ads, and as a rule of thumb - don't pause or delete ads below 100 clicks (or conversions if you measure them).

Hi mvarga.

When you say don't pause or delete ads below 100 clicks, is this "all time" number of clicks? And why do you say that?

Thanks.
