keyword modifiers/negative keywords

I called google but the person wasn't really sure and so I was not really confident on the answer.

When you do keyword modifiers

say for example

+pew +bible +niv

will plural versions of shoes be included in the results?

pew bibles niv

What if the order of the words is different

niv pew bible(s)

I have created the negative keywords but when you search in plural form it still seems to show up.

As of writing these, even though I have created these negative keywords

+niv +pew +bible
+niv +pew +bibles
+pew +bible +niv
+pew +bibles +niv

searches for the plural are still showing my ad

when I search for niv pew bibles

but NOT pew bibles niv

I simply do not carry this product so I don't want ads to show

https://www.google.com/search?q=niv+pew+bibles&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-USSmiley Surprisedfficial&c...

my client is www.biblesatcost.com

Any advice appreciated.

http://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2497836?hl=en . Hi try reviewing the information in that link. Google will run close variants, plural, synonyms, depending on your campaign settings. Refer to your campaign settings for more information under "Keyword Matching Options" however, that will not prevent targeting plurals in your broad, or broad matched terms. The link provides more info on that too. You may want to consider buidling out an extensive list of exact and phrase match terms and the corresponding set of exact and phrase match terms as plurals for negatives (http://adwords.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-matching-behavior-for-phrase-and.html)

Google will target plurals for all match types, and I have never tried what I proposed. Let me know how it goes.
