I am new to ad words and before I make a campaign I would like to know where as far as constructing an ad to start to promote my site. I am a radio personality trying to gain more exposure for my radio show and drive more traffic to my website I always put my trending topics on my website each day and would like to have more listeners call into my show. Any suggestions on where to start.

Hi Shaunte C

In the GCP learning Center there is all the information you will need with useful examples.

More detail information about your issue can be found in the following 2nd link where it explains about the Keywords.

Finally i believe that first you need to go through the following material which explains how you will organize your campaign.

Since I believe your first motive is to improve your brand name, Google Display Network won't be a bad option to consider.

You can try to build a GDN campaign and start searching for the placements where you think your website can reach the potential audiences.

Similarly down the line, you can create a Remarketing Campaign and have the users revisit your site who have already shown interest.

You could also go for Adwords Video Campaign option and promote your YouTube video/channel via Adwords.
