Hi Fahmi Amada,

CTR (Clickthrough rate) Formula is  number of clicks divided by the number of impressions.

How come impressions are with decimal?

I hope you looking for this formula. If not let me know.

ok base on the formula

clicks              impressions

559   devided   3981177.05= 0.00014 times 100% it will be 0.014%

how come in google reports it says 1.2%?

i really confuse with this thing.

thanks

Fahmi

Hello Fahmi and welcome,

Make sure you are looking at the CTR values separately for Search and Display Network like this:

CTR.jpg

The first marked in red is for Search Network and the second marked is for Display Network and below them there is a combined CTR. So, just make sure you are calculating the rights numbers here.

My 2 cents!

Hi fahmiAmada, and welcome to the forum.

Can you confirm where you're getting these numbers from?  As Neha has already asked, figures for Impressions are always integers and cannot be expressed in a decimal format.  Equally, Av. CPC is a single figure - one average - not a range.

CTR = Clicks/Impression, Suppose that Clicks is 5 and impression is 1000,
CTR = 5/1000 = 5/1000 X 100 =0.5%
