Hello,
I'm fairly new to adwords and I wanted to ask for some guidance on how to set good keywords. I have a wedding decor floral design shop and have standard keywords in my campaign such as "wedding centerpieces in chicago". I want to add more keywords to my campaign but I am not sure what kind of keywords I could use. I've seen some replies on keywords planner but not sure what that is. can anyone give me some direction on this? i would very much appreciate it.

Hi Aneta,

Hope you are doing well.

I would suggest replicating your website structure while creating the keyword structure for your account. Eg: make different campaigns Wedding Decor, Wedding floral & floral designs, etc.

Once, you have replicated your website, you should visit the Keyword Planner to get additional keywords around your theme. This is a Google tool which can be accessed through the Adwords interface (https://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner).

Once you are done with positive keywords, you should also create a set of negative keywords (the terms you don't want your ads to show on, eg: Wedding Songs, invitations, etc.)

Hope this helps.

Regards
Rohit
