got stuck on demographics

I do not use adwords a lot but now i have to setup 2 campaings



1 month for men budget 200 euro

1 month for women 100 euro

language dutch

resides in Belgium

men age 40-59y

women 25-45y


i think my ads are setup but i always get stuck on the age and gender thing. At some point i click display network and demographics and there i see my campaigns. Somewhere in he help i read i should click +targetting but from there i can not include or exclude age and gender.


In the gender and age tab i select which to exclude but then i get a message: 

Errors occured while making your changes.
So here i get stuck :-)
Any thoughts on this?

Hi Roger,

Your targeting options are going to vary depending on the type of campaigns you're running. If these are search campaigns, generally speaking, you will not have the same demographic targeting options as if you were referring to a display network campaign.
