.gid Ads (Image Ad in AdWords)

Hello, I have few queries related to AdWords usage.

As I am a new user, I found it strange that the following occurred:

1) for my .gif ads, i have set my ads to be shown for about 5 seconds, however, after 1 to 1.5 seconds, the ad paused

2) for my .gif ads, even though I have set that it was auto-play, it did not play infinitely. After about 25 seconds, the ad paused.

Could anyone provide me with some concrete reasons why the above occurred? Thank you indeed! It would help a lot.

Hi Sein Him L,

I can't answer your first question. For the second, the maximum animation time is 30 seconds. The probably why the ad "paused".

Here's a little info on display ads:

the site states that
"Standard display ads run across different Google properties:

YouTube: all sections of the site except the Homepage
Zagat: all sections of the site as top and bottom unit"

is it not about image ads on google partner sites such as forums, blogs, etc.?

Is the limit of 30 seconds a universal rule for all .gif files on Google advertising platform?
