Hi Team,

I need to understand the deference between the Display networks platform in Adwords and DFP platform. How these two platform are different with each other. And if we want to run the campaign on Dfp  does it require separate accounts or can i access this account trough my Adwords Accounts.

Thanks & Regard,

Rishi Acharya

Hello Rishi,

I am using both of these but purpose of these two are totally different. Where AdWords is for advertisers, DFP is for publishers.

Using AdWords Tool an advertiser target websites which are under GDN (Google Display Network). And using DFP a publisher manages Ads on his own website. Suppose you own a website and have good daily traffic and there are many advertisers who are approaching you to have their ads on your website, you can easily mange the orders & your ad inventory using DFP.

This is what I know Smiley Happy

Thanks

Hi Rishi,

In addition to what has been said above, I would like to add there that DoubleClick Ad Exchange and AdWords can work together if the advertiser has enabled Google Display Network for their campaign. More details are in the help center reference here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2472739?hl=en

Here's the dedicated DFP forum if you have specific queries, you can post here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/dfp
