Hi there;

Adwords is by definition a PPC system. (This is how it was initially designed)


Throughout the years, the display network was added, in which you could pay by CPM (per 10000 impressions). This brings to the question what are the goals of the display campaign?


If the goal (on the display network) is direct response - stick with PPC, if the goal is branding  - you might consider PPM.

I tend to prefer paying by the click. To MosheTLV's excellent response I would also add that if you have a high CTR, you may want to experiment with CPM bidding to see if it brings you a better return on investment. You never know what works for your business in particular unless you test!
