Hi @vinod,

1) 20,000 ad group targeting items per ad group (such as keywords, placements, and audience lists)

Honestly, I do not think you should worry about the limits. The numbers are almost infinite for normal brands. What you should be worried about is how to structure your account more effectively and have tightly themed keywords in one ad group. Read more about Structuring your account here - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1704396?hl=en

2) Ad extensions are a type of ad format that show extra information (“extending” from your text ads) about your business. Some can be added manually and others are automated. Ad extensions have an impact on your overall quality of the ad and therefore your Quality score. Please see the video here. It should help answer all your questions. - https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2375499?hl=en

3)We bid for every keyword and we pay for every time someone clicks an ad. I highly recommend seeing this video to get a better understanding of the auction mechanism and how you get charged.

Also, seeing the questions that you have put forth, I assume you are a just starting out with AdWords. I would recommend you do not rush into this and have a read through the study material that google provides to get a better understanding of AdWords before you start advertising.
Here's a link to the Help Center page - https://support.google.com/adwords#topic=3119071 - You could use this as a starting point.

Please feel free to come back to the forum with any more questions you have!

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Shweta

1) 20,000
2) These are shown up additionally with the adcopy and contribute to ad-rank.
3) You will be charged for keywords.

Vinod & Archit,

Shweta posted a prompt and considerate response, however, she was neither spontaneous nor hasty .... Smiley Happy
Spontaneous refers to something occurring without apparent external cause while hasty may refer to someone acting with insufficient consideration. Neither of them is applicable in her case.

Best,
Lakatos

I know you meant good, Archit. That's why I put there the smiley.

However, you used the word "hasty" which was inappropriate. Think twice before you post ... Smiley Happy
