account issues with google apps

Problem Description: i just migrated to google apps.  i had 2 google accounts prior to the migration, ben@nerdalertmarketing and info@nerdalertmarketing.com.  ben@ is my main login and i used info@ for my adwords client center (why i did that i dont know but it has always been that way).  anyway, now that i made the transition, i cannot get into my info@nerdalertmarketing.com account in order to access my adwords setup.  i tried to create a new user in the apps admin panel and assign the same user id and password and then login, but it gives me an entirely new adwords account.  when i remove the info@ account from apps and try and access it tells me that my password is wrong and when i try and recover, it tells me that my domain admin needs to reset my password.  any ideas on how i can make this work?  its a huge problem for me right now.  thanks in adcvance

Hello again;

You cannot undo Apps, unless you close the Aps account - NOT recommended.

Follow the second alternative:

  1. If you still can't sign-in to your AdWords, you will need AdWords support granting - to a totally different email - outside your Apps domain - (use a new Gmail), administrative access to your AdWords.
  2. When this is done, (not an easy task, since you'll need to prove to support, that the AdWords account you can't access - is yours!) you can sign-in, invite info@ and grant info@ an administrative access.

Hello nerdalert;

This is tough, because the moment you create A Google Apps for Business account, you get a set of services linked to this account only.

I understand that you had two different Google accounts, under the old system, that did NOT require a Gmail address.;

  1. Now info@ is actually under Apps account.
  2. Reset the password of info@ using the Apps console. (Under users set a NEW password for info@. It will serve info@ for all its Apps services. This password can be changed later)
  3. If you still can't sign-in to your AdWords, you will need AdWords support granting - to a totally different email - outside your Apps domain - (use a new Gmail), administrative access to your AdWords.
  4. When this is done, (not an easy task, since you'll need to prove to support, that the AdWords account you can't access - is yours!) you can sign-in, invite info@ and grant info@ an administrative access.

Keep us posted. Let us know, if one of these options (hopefully) is helpful.

thanks for the help.  i tried to reset the password of the info@ account and was able to sign into adwords with that account....however, the system did not recognize the old account and tried to get me to sign up for a new one.

can you tell em the best way to contact google adwords support to try and clear this up?

is it possibe to "undo" google apps in a way that i could sign into my old adwords client center account, authorize a new user, re-enable apps and then have them both working?

im worried that all of my adwords account settings are gone.  i guess i can always add the clients back into a new account...but then i have to re-apply for a cleint center account....and on top of that i had a google engage account associated with that email (info@) and i cannot acces that either.

ugh...i was so happy with google apps up until now....so dissapointing.
