I am trying to target YouTube videos.

There used to be a great YouTube Targeting Tool but it is no longer available.

I tryed to find YouTube videos in the placement targeting tool in adwords, but it does not do the job.

It doesn't find relevant videos.

It won't find channels by their name.

It won't find videos by their title.

I am not sure how am I suppose to target videos.

How do you do it?

Yes you are right  when I treied this tool then its shows following message:

"This tool has become unavailable. You'll still be able to target YouTube Categories and Channels with AdWords Placement Tool by selecting the "Video" placement type for your search. If you are trying to run a TrueView ad format, you may also consider the new AdWords for video tool ."

Now you can use two method to Target YouTube categories or channels using Ad Planner and AdWords Placement tool.

DoubleClick Ad Planner to find categories of video content or YouTube channels.

Learn more about searching for placements in the DoubleClick Ad Planner.

Or, if you want to target placements within your AdWords campaign, you can use the AdWords Placement Tool to select specific placements on YouTube or the Google Display Network.

Learn how to use the placement tool

Just an opinion of mine!

Hey B_Stefanov_DS,

I am upset about loosing this tool too..

The only option I see is to choose the channel you wish to target or choose the URLs manually.
