Hi All,

Is there a benefit to setting up a separate YouTube display campaign instead of just adding youtube.com as a Managed Placement within your regular display campaign.  Are there different ad sizes for YouTube?

Thanks!

Stephanie

Hi

If you wanna show video ads you need to use "AdWords for Video".

Unless you want extra control options for your YouTube display ad advertising, there isn´t much reason to create a separate campaign for that placement.

You can get other formats at YouTUbe if you buy ad space directly from YouTube. But that will demand a much bigger investment.
Otherwise, ad formats are the same on YouTube as on the rest of the display network (although not all formats necessarily will show on YouTube

Hi Stephanie,

There are definitely advantages if you create separate youtube campaigns through Adwords for video. This way you can make use of different video formats, for instance prerolls and promoted videos on youtube. More info: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2996984?hl=en&ref_topic=3119118
