Why need to Implement CPC for Direct Response Campaigns?
Hello Every One,
I Have been preparing for Adwords Advanced Display Exam. I have a query regarding this page of Display Binder
As you can see in this link given below Why need to Implement CPC for Direct Response Campaigns when CPA is mentioned for Direct Response campaigns & for conversion optimizer.Because only one Bidding method can be used Either it will be CPC or CPA we can't implement both just like on this page he said about Choosing CPA and implementing CPC also.Could you guys please guide me for that?

It is possible to use both CPC and Conversion Optimizer running at the same time in a campaign, but you would need to apply them to separate ad groups as flexible bidding strategies. More often, advertisers start with CPC bidding and then progress to Conversion Optimizer once they have a large amount of conversion data and feel comfortable relinquishing some control over the bidding. Either bidding strategy would work for a direct response campaign, but which is best would depend on the amount of data available, the conversions tracked, and how much time an advertiser has to manage the campaign.
