Which characters are classified as "non-standard"?

Hey everyone,

I quote from the AdWords Editorial Guidelines:

"The display URL for your site cannot be an IP address (such as 123.45.678.90) or use non-standard characters (such as !, *, #, _, @)."

It seems that they only list a few characters as "non-standard" in their example, but what would be a full list of non-standard characters?

Cheers,

Michal

To my knowledge: symbols (not letters or numbers) on the ASCII table are not standard.

Hi Michal,

I can not specify the full list but only single-byte characters are allowed in the display URL field whether your ads are written in any such language which use double-byte characters.

For such languages double-byte characters can be used in the headline(12 double-byte characters limit), both description lines(17 double-byte characters limit) but 35 single byte characters limit for display url.
