Where to find ''search for new keywords and ad group ideas'' tool?

when i click on keyword planner, it just makes me sign in and starts building my adword. I would like to explore the tool first but dont know how to get to the new keywords and ad group ideas tool

You need to sign in to use the keyword planner tool.

As AdWords now provides more benefits of this tool to the real advertisers. To use the tool effectively, you need to have an active campaign with some threshold spent(not disclosed). Otherwise, you may get limited data in terms of ranges.

 

Though you can use other tools like Google trends to get ideas.
