When I import .aes files, they are empty. Why is this?

Hi!

I'm trying to import an .aes file from another AdWords account into an account in my MCC account, but when I import it in AdWords Editor it downloads as empty. I know the .aes file has files in it, because I've seen it, but for some reason I can't seem to import the account.

Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm thinking it's because you can't import .aes files from one account to another account.

Thanks for all your help in advance!

Do you have any edits in the source account? AES file only contains unposted changes. Most likely, you want to export an AEA file instead.
