Hello,

i just create an image ad (300x250), and i target it on a local site, i use placement tools... and alreade set 'display targetting setting' :

Keywords: all

Placements: a local site

Topics:All
Interests & Remarketing:All

My question is i don't get info about suggested CPC/CPM, where can i found such information so i can adjust my bid ? Thanks

Hi Viktor,

I believe this info is not available for placements although their is minimum CPC/CPM value is assigned by Google which you have to assign to be atleast eligible for auction. (http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=105764)

So, I would suggets to assign a bid fairly over the minimum bid & look for Imp/Clicks.

Keep increasing your bids to a point when you start receiving desired number of clicks & impressions on a daily basis.

Hope this will help.

First i would like to ask for what you are running ad campaign? If you running your ad for branding then go with CPM otherwise go  with CPC

i took a look at your reference and found this interesting paragraph:
"If you use cost-per-thousand-impression (CPM) bidding, you'll automatically be stopped from entering a CPM bid under the minimum necessary for your ads to show on the Display Network. Find the minimum CPM bid for your currency."

but the link to "Find the minimum CPM bid for your currency" is broken
