There was a change in Google Keyword Planner that added search volume trends graph. How is it calculated?  The keyword is keyword1 and has 800 average monthly searches while the search volume trends shows 3000 - why?

Hi @Yogesh G;

The key here is that the data shown is based on the account past performances. The systems analyzes the past performance, and based on that suggests keywords, estimates clicks, etc.. So the trend that you see is search volumes for all suggested keywords.

To see the real data statistics,  use the option of "get search volume data" instead of "search for new keywords" (get ideas).

In particular, please pay attention to the "Note" sections, especially the one below "What search volume forecasts mean".
