Using organic and paid promotion by Google

Hello,

I am using adwords, and also organic attitude to promote my site.

1. Can one see my site both at organic list (when searching by google) and in paid list?

2. I used webmaster to emphasize parts of my page. One of them is image.

I added the tag, as recommended  by webmaster tool: <img itemprop="image" ...> (itemprop).

When searching by google, I see my site on organic list, but I cannot see the image - Need some guidelines that the image could be seen.

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hi Eitan,

Yes, it is possible to appear in both the Paid and Organic Search Results for any given query.  However, it is not guaranteed.  Google does not accept money for placement or inclusion in their Organic Search Results.  To appear in the Paid Search Results your Ad Rank must be high enough for you to appear on the first page.

In regards to your second question, are you saying that you don't see your images on your website, or you don't see your images in the Google Image Search Results?  If you don't see the image on your website, I suggest you contact your webmaster.  If you don't see it in the Google Image Search Results, I suggest you read the link below and follow the suggestions in it.

Add Image to Google Search Results

Finally, if you need additional assistance on this topic you may find better luck in the Google Webmaster Forum.

Hi Eitan,

That result is actually coming from Google News search results. So, first of all you need to get your site listed in Google News results.

Here is link on how to get listed in Google News Search result https://support.google.com/news/publisher/answer/40787?hl=en

By default, search results will automatically show thumbnail images where available. But you can also specify thumbnail image yourself.
Check this on how to do that: https://support.google.com/customsearch/answer/1626955?hl=en

Hope that helps,

Nouman

About the image - sometimes, I do google search (not google image search, but google site search), and see some sites, with image beside them (In the place where the site + descriptions appears).
i.e:
https://www.google.co.il/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=TTneU63CM4iH4Ab3y4GgBg&gws_rd=ssl#q=cnn

https://www.google.co.il/#q=cnn

(I see topic news in Hebrew - Not the big CNN red logo, but as one of the search results).

How can I do that (making the image appear in google site search)?
I have thought webmaster is fine (just adding <img itemprop="image" ...> as webmaster tool sugest ... with some metadata I copied+paste to my script, but this doesn't really show the picture).

You can also use Structured Data Testing Tool to test snippets implemented correctly or not.

I add as you said for Mappage, but didn't see the image.
Also for structured data testing tool there is structured data markup helper, which I use - is that for adding a thumbnail when showing the searched result?

Thanks Smiley Happy

Hi Eitan,

Can you share the URL of the page on which you want to implement this structured data?

Thanks,
Nouman
