Urgent! Is there a way to find the time at which users click my ad?

I want to optimize my ad according to the traffic at specific times of the day. I need to know if I can have Analytics or Adwords show the time of the day at which users click my ad so that i can schedule my ad to show during that time.

Hi Prince Vishnu K,

You sure can. There are reports in both Google Analytics and Google AdWords that allow you to look at the time of day. If you want to use AdWords, go to the Dimensions report and select "time" from the drop down. Then select "hour of day". You can also look at day or day of week. You can find more information here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454008?hl=en

If you prefer to use Google Analytics, you can take a look at the AdWords hour of day report. More information can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1247859?hl=en

Good luck!

Hi Vishnu,

Yes.. you do get the stats for your account segmented by time...
In the adwords interface goto the dimensions tab(for either all campaigns or a particular campaign) and then under View>time>Hour of day you will be able to see the account performance split by every hour of the day.

You can also segment data by day of week to come to a better conclusion for scheduling your ads.

Adscheduling is not the only segmentation you should be doing while trying to optimize your account.. you should also try segmenting it by location, device, comparing week on week performance etc..

You can read more about segmenting your data here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454072?hl=en

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
