Unable To Add Account

I just downloaded Adwords Editor but when I try to login by adding a new account, my company email address and google password, it denies me saying, "Internal Google Error. Request cannot be completed at this Time. Please try again later."

 

I've been trying this for a few days but things have not changed.

Hi Brendan,
Are you using two step authentication on your business account?
Is the business account the same one with access to the AdWords account?

Have you tried the Troubleshooter - https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/troubleshooter/2893845?hl=en&ref_topic=3388256

If not, try that. I would also try, un-installing and then re-installing to see if that resolves.

If that doesn't work, re-post here and we'll see what support you can receive to fix this error.

My educated guess is, your login has a read-only access to the account (to check, in the online interface click on the gear icon in the top-right corner, then Account Settings, then Account Access).

Due to certain technical issues, users with read-only access cannot download their accounts in Editor at the moment. This is being worked on, and should be fixed by the end of the week. Meanwhile, the only workaround is for someone to grant you standard or admin access.
