Hi,

I think you are tryng to edit an adwords express ad from inside the AdWords interface. Maybe this is a problem between AdWords and AdWords Express. Kindly review following links:

I hope above link help you.

Hi javnas,

As Anchal suggested, it is possible that you are trying to make changes to your AdWords Express campaign within the regular AdWords interface. Does the campaign you are trying to edit have a name starting with 'Places Ads' followed by letters and numbers?

If so you will need to go to www.google.com/adwords/express/ and from here you can edit the campaign from the AdWords Express interface.

Hope this helps!

None of these responses really work in my case.

I have finally come to realize and understand that you can't make changes or edit anything in AdWords Express even though there are multiple options on the page under the different categories. That said, when I go to "edit"  under my business name (You can edit address, business name and more in Google Places.) my options there are also limited.

I used to be able to edit keywords, change my geographical targets, etc. Now, I can't do jack sh*t and all I end up doing is wasting time looking for answers that are not there.

Is google just controlling everything on the back end, leaving us with little or no deciding options?
