Targeting professions on display

I've been using search only for long time now and so I thought I'd try my hand on the display network.

I run a few business all B2B. What's the best way to target by profession? Let's say I want to target dentists, contractors, insurance agents, and chiropractors.

Other than defining specific sites to these trades in placements, what's the best way to get my ads infront of the right professionals?

Hi Ryan

My favorites are  topics AND keywords s(not too specific, though) or managed placements and keywords

With topics AND keywords  you target sites found by Google as relevant AND pages within the sites that are matched to the theme of the keywords.
Managed placement and keywords would also work, as long as you have a list of the leading sites in this business.
