Targeting Mac users

Is there any way to target my campaign only to Mac OS X users?

I do not want Windows users to waste my budget, because my application is only for Mac users.

Hi Dennis
Unfortunately, there's no way to do this any longer. You can target operating systems on mobile only I'm afraid. This wasn't always the case but I have not idea why Google removed this option when they did.

Best option is to try to laser focus a specific audience on the display network but even that's going to be a little tricky. You could also try using a segmented remarketing audience in Google Analytics but that still leaves the search network out of it.

Sorry that's not the answer you were looking for.

Hi Dennis
Sorry for the delay getting back to you.

This is most likely down to one of the methods I mentioned above. If you visit a page on a website for some mac software, you were likely added to a "mac owner" remarketing list and the advertiser targeted that list. It's pretty common and a perfect example of how remarketing works.

Hope that clears it up.

Thank you, Dave_Davis.
But how those "Clean your Mac" and "Slow Mac?" commercials reach me?
Or they also do reach Windows users?
