Sitelinks Impression

Hi everyone,

I have a problem about sitelinks: most of them are not showing. For some campaigns they are showing fine, but for most of the campaigns it's not working. I don't know why.

I know position affects the sitelinks, but is there any other reasons? How can I do to improve my sitelinks impression?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Yao

Hi Yao

Sitelink Extensions are all about position. If you are not at the top of the page you will not show your sitelinks.

Being at the top does not also guarantee that they will be shown either, as Google will not always show them, but there are a few things that you can do to help this.

Make sure you make use of the 2 description lines for the sitelink
Make sure that they are relevant to the ad in question, or at least linked to the theme in some way.
Seasonality can also help. If your Sitelinks show that they are relevant to the current season/holiday then they are more likely to be shown. (eg Christmas sitelinks in December)

Good Luck

Hi Yao L,
Showing sitelinks depends on many things. Some major points are given below.
1.Low ad rank .
2.Low keywords bids.
3.Landing page not in sync with keywords and ads.
4.Low Quality Score.
5.Other extension used in the account.

What you can do are as follows:
1.Try to increase the ad rank.
2.Increase the keyword bids.
3.Landing page and ads relevant to kywords.(all in sync)
4.Improving the quality Score.

Please have a look in this link which might give you a better idea.
