Security: How to set up 2 step verification for international offices

Could I ask what the best case practice for 2 step verification in AdWords / MCC:s is for international agencies or offices? In other words, a few people may share the same AdWords login emails across different locations and won't share the same mobile number.

Thanks!

Hello;

2- step verification is per Google account - not per Google product. It ensures that the access to the ACCOUNT is done from a trusted device or from a trusted network.

Once the user configures it, would apply for all Google products the user is signed up for.

Hi Moshe,

Thanks for thinking about this. Yes, this is a question related to Google accounts, but as you may know, agencies and companies also use Google accounts for non-personal purposes, especially dealing with Google AdWords.

Let's go through a typical example. An advertising agency creates a new Google account called "mcc@gmail.com" to act as the central login email for AdWords. They only use it for Google AdWords and Analytics, but would like to ensure that people in the Atlanta and Paris offices would be able to log in and work on their international hotel client.

Two step verification would be an additional security measure they would like to implement in their Google account, but they want to know what is the best case practice of doing it.

Ps. Nice Google glass you've got there. :-)

Thanks!

Hello again;
2-step verification is per user, not per product! Limiting the access to the product should be done using other methods.
Setting a "central login address" is a practice I do not recommend, since you have no track login records into the account;
