Seasonal Campaign Wrap Up Tips[ Edited ]
May 2013 - last edited May 2013
With lots of summer promotions and one off events like Mother’s Day coming up soon (at least in the US!) I’ve compiled a checklist of things to take into account when you’re creating a seasonal campaign.
Take a look through and see if you can think of any others that might be useful. If you can find any new ones, please post them below for us all to share!
Keywords - make sure your keywords are relevant to your promotion and are likely to be what your customers are searching for
Start and End Dates - if your seasonal campaign has a certain time period to run, make sure you set the start and end date to reflect this. It will make sure your ads are only running when you want them to!
Campaign Structure - reach your customers when it matters the most by creating a careful account structure
Sitelinks - sitelinks are a great way to make your ad larger and promote different aspects of your service or website. With enhanced campaigns you can have ad group specific sitelinks so you can make much more granular changes to your account, which is especially important with a seasonal campaign.
Bid Adjustments - use bid adjustments to target your bids more carefully and combine different aspects of your campaign (such as location and device) to make the most of your budget.
Hope these tips help. Let us know by posting below if you have any other tips to share!
