What can we learn from search term? Does it say actually what people are searching?

Yes, the search terms report shows what users have actually typed on Google to find your ad. You can also add the 'keyword' column from columns>modify columns>attributes to find which keyword matched the search query. Two things you can do here, is to add irrelevant terms as negative keywords (to prevent ads from showing in future) and relevant ones as keywords. More info on this report here.
