Running in-stream video ads

Hi,

Does anyone know how to set up in-stream video ads in YouTube? When I click on promote my video, it gives me a very broad interest list. Is there anyway I can use Adwords for video to set up an in-stream ad based on people's search patterns on YouTube? When I go to the Adwords set up, I see the following display options for the ad:

Hi Wine,

You should run it from your AdWords account. When you click to create a new campaign you'll see an option "Online Video", that's where to start.

I suggest you have a look at this AdWords for video page, which covers the basics for setting up video ads.

Hi Wine,
On YouTube you cannot set up In-Stream based on users' search patterns. To advertise on YouTube, you can target via:
Demographic: Target people by their age or gender.
Viewing content (topics): Reach people based on general web content categories.
User interested in (interests): Target people based on more specific interests.
Content Keywords: Enter keywords that will help match your ads to web content. These work just like contextual targeting on the greater Google Display Network, but apply only to videos on the entire network
-or-
Search keywords (In-Search)

If you're really trying to target based on Keywords, I would suggest TrueView In-Search first, and then In-Stream with Content Keywords layered in.
