Remarketing only one item instead of the line

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

Im setting up a remarking campaign and want to only remarker one product listed in my current 10 item data feed . how do I go about just making sure that that one specific item is the only one being advertised? Ive created a second data base that only contains this one item but don't see a way to link a new remarking campaign to a specific database.

Any help would be appreciated!

simply create a list of negative-keywords
to filter specific items from being used.

for dynamic-remarketing for retail, google creates the

ads based on user-behavior, the feed, and site data.

since accounts are linked -- not a feed -- all data submitted
is funneled into the same account; so there is no easy way
to restrict items via specific feeds within the same account.

there are synchronization, update, and related maintenance tasks
that can become more difficult if more than one data-feed is used;
therefore, using one, single, data-feed is generally recommended
for all items unless the inventory becomes rather large, for example.

first, you're welcome.

the negative word list is added at the campaign level --
https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2453972

all items sold can be used for dynamic-remarketing -- so,
add (negative) words that would cause google to remove
all the items except those you wish to remarket.

for example, if the items were wagons, trains, and cars
and only wagons and trains were wanted -- cars could
be added as a negative.

If you only want to retarget users who have seen 1 of the products you sell, you probable shouldn't be using dynamic remarketing. Instead you can just use a static image ad showing that product and then build a simple remarketing list for users who visited that specific product page.

For example if the product you want to retarget for is on the page http://www.example.com/products/product1234.html

you can create a rule-based lists with a rule such as "URL contains product1234.html"

See the documentation about remarketing lists here:
