Hi Lisa,

There are a few prerequisites to running a Remarketing campaigns in your account. The most important one is that you need to be running an active AdWords account. By active, I mean, you must be serving ads on the SERP and driving traffic to your website.

Once you have this setup ready, you also need to go into the Shared Library section on your AdWords account>Audiences, create a new Remarketing tag and then place the remarketing tag on your websites pages in the Head section.

I am assuming, you are already running an AdWords campaign, so I am giving you here a AdWords Help link on Remarketing and how to set it up.

Do give this a read. Hope this Helps!

Hello Lisa,

Would you please elaborate your query please?? You wish to implement remarketing??

About Remarketing, there are 2 types of remarketing lists you can create Search and Display Networks. For the Search Network you need to have a list size of 1000 and 100 for Display Network.

For more on the Remarketing, please read these articles:

Hi Lisa,

The aim of such websites is to get people view as many offers as possible, click on them, and land on the target websites. The other prominent aim is to get people subscribe to the list so that daily offers can be sent to them.

In this case, if you create a rule based remarketing list, it will be more fruitful to you. For instance, a list that gathers the list of visitors who visited homepage but did not navigate to any other page.

Secondly, you can create a dedicated page for newsletter subscription in a way anybody who clicks on any button to subscribe comes to this page. Here you can have the form for subscription. The successful subscription will lead to a different 'thank you' page, which you can count as conversion.

Now again, you can create a remarketing list for the people who visited this subscription page but did not subscribe.

The other way of counting conversions can be the redirect page. When you route visitor to the main website where coupon can be applied, you usually have page that handles redirection, you can hold its view for a few second before the redirect and count this page view as the conversion.
