Remarketing for drinking problems?

Is there any remarketing allowed for "stop drinking" issues. I don't call it addiction because we cannot even define addicition and because I don't believe drinking problems are addictions but, drinking can be a serious problem. I read your policy and it showed how to fix a problem by removing language that violates the terms. Anyway, can I use remarketing to target people who want to stop drinking alcohol.

fyi when you say "I read your policy", you are not contacting Google here - this is a volunteer peer-to-peer forum for getting answers to AdWords questions. You can contact Google for support directly, using the methods listed under the "Gear" icons on your Adwords management page.

To address your question: the general guideline pertinent to this is: Google does not permit remarketing for ads which have the potential to embarrass someone when ads are redisplayed, so this applies to many medical and legal categories.

You can use the disallowed ads and policies form to verify for a particular situation:

@Luca B;

Since this type of campaign could reveal  or imply an individual personal condition / state - this is not allowed.
