Hi,

I have linked an account to our MCC and the client receive the notification 'You have client managers awaiting approval'. I advise client to log in on their adwords account, however the client cannot approve the same since they don't have the option to click grant access account. Under the action column, it says 'Pending'. Please let us know what underlying assumption of this instance. Thanks and have a great day.

Hello James,

Please read the instructions in this article

https://support.google.com/adwords/agency/answer/7732?hl=en

Follow the instructions at step 6

6. When you click Submit, the client will receive an account notification that invites him to link to your account. If he's an administrator on the account, he can accept your invitation by visiting "My account" > "Account access" in his account and clicking "Accept invitation."

Hi James,

Did you eventually find a solution for this? I'm having the same issue at the moment.

Adrian B: the issue is that there is no button "Accept invitation", it says "Pending" instead. I'm an administrator for the account though, so it should work.

Thanks for your help.

Pieter

Pieter,

Since no one ever responded to this and it was the first thing I found about it...

Here's my solution. I found that I couldn't accept invitations from a Client Manager account and the MAIN account for the AdWords account had to be used instead. So, if you're an administrator, but are also a Client Manager, you won't be able to accept other Client Manager requests, but you can add users to have account access.
