When I created the rule based list for the Remarketing campaign in a shared library, not able to add the list in search network audience tab.

When I clicked on the list I created in shared library network says "DISPLAY NETWORK" but list which has Automatically generated by adwords shows search and display network.

How to create rule based list for for search network?

Hey Dhana s,
If you want to add re-marketing list for search network(RLSA) then can go for Audience tab of a campaign and add remarketing list which is available for search network.

Hello Dhana,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

What you said was right, When you create a rule based remarketing list in the shared library (Assuming you know how remarkeitng works).there are certain times that when you create a remarketing list, the list size is available for BOTH the Search and Display Network and for some it is ONLY Display Network.(Confirmed in this Link)

Note: A remarketing list for Google search ads needs to have a minimum number of 1000 cookies (Users) before the list can be used to tailor your search ads. while for Display it will work if the list  size is 100

Here in the Help Centre, it reads this way:

In the Shared library, you'll see two remarketing list sizes: one for Google Search and one for the Display Network. These sizes can be significantly different because there are two different types of cookies used to create these lists. In addition, some remarketing lists are available for both Google Search and the Display Network, while others are available for the Display Network only. However, no information is shared on why some lists are only for Display Network Check this Link
